Teleteknic Unveils New Phone Models

SYDNEY (21 March)—Electronics giant Teleteknic announced that it is launching three new models of its popular smartphone: the Strato, the Alto, and the Cirro. In terms of physical dimensions and data storage, the Strato is the smallest model, the Alto is in the middle, and the Cirro is the largest. The Cirro model also includes an electronic stylus for writing or drawing on the screen.

Most of the changes from Teleteknic’s previous phone models are minor. However, users will be impressed by a significant improvement to the camera. All new models include an upgraded camera with advanced zoom features and automatic focus. It also allows users to take better photos in lower light conditions. Another advancement is in the batteries: the latest phones have a longer battery life and charge faster.

Local Museum Goes Interactive

DERRY (April 7)—The Regional History Museum (RHM) has upgraded many of its exhibits to include interactive technologies. The enhanced exhibitions opened on Monday, one week before the scheduled completion date. The museum remained open during the installation, although some offerings were unavailable during the process of upgrading. — [1] —. The enhancements were funded by Arnsby Metal Manufacturing, a major industrial firm in the area.

According to RHM director Ann Wert, interactive technology allows exhibits to present information and engage users through various audio and visual media. “Visitors can now learn the region’s history in an immersive way,” said Ms. Wert. The director’s persistent efforts helped to determine the priorities for the project. — [3] —. “Every week in the museum lobby, I interview patrons and record their opinions,” said Ms. Wert. “The changes reflect their wishes and ideas.”

The improved RHM exhibits also give the user control over the experience. — [4] —. The museum now features 26 interactive exhibits that play audio narratives and informative videos.

Piloting a drone for commercial use requires certification as a precondition of employment. Obtaining a certification card involves:
• completing a course in unmanned aircraft flight regulations
• filing an online application
• registering your equipment with the appropriate civil aviation authority
• completing an interview with a flight examiner to demonstrate knowledge of airspace regulations

After you have successfully completed all required steps, your flight examiner will submit your results for processing. You should receive your certification card within ten business days.
