change with the seasons to highlight locally available products.

Building Blocks is the newest employee-led volunteer group at Milos Tek Corporation.
Unlike other company groups that organize charity fund-raisers or clean up local parks,
Building Blocks asks its members to share their professional expertise with others. We
offer free seminars on management, public relations, grant writing, and various types of
application software to nonprofit organizations in Lalortown. These organizations
include youth clubs, community sports leagues, the Lalortown Nature Center, and
Lalortown’s public radio station!

Participation in Building Blocks generally involves more time than what is encouraged
by other volunteer groups at Milos Tek. While each seminar is typically one hour long,

has openings for four full-time workers. These seasonal positions will be available
from the beginning of June until the end of August. Duties include handling sales,
stocking shelves, assisting customers, and setting up displays. Some early morning

Dear Team:

In late December, we will take possession of the first six of the twelve Trak-4 jets we
ordered last year. The remaining jets will be delivered throughout the coming year. I
believe these narrow-body jets represent the future of our airline. In addition to being the
quietest jets on the market today, they are 20 percent more fuel efficient than the DB90s
that we currently fly. They also have a smaller passenger capacity of 76 seats, making
them ideally suited to underserved regional markets.

In anticipation of the upcoming delivery, we must decide what routes to fly the new
aircraft on. Perhaps we need to rethink our entire hub system. We currently have seven
regional urban hubs where our flights connect. Passengers flying between smaller cities
must change planes at one of these hubs. Landing fees at these larger airports tend to be
very high. We could drastically reduce our operating expenses by flying narrow-body craft
directly to and from airports located away from these major urban centers.

I am setting up a meeting one week from today to discuss this issue. We will analyze the
profitability of each of our current routes in order to reach an informed decision.

Travelaider: A Blog about Where, Why, and How to Travel

Springfield (January 20)—I recently flew nonstop from Silver City to Centerville on
Ventana Airlines. That’s right, I said “nonstop.” Ventana now offers direct flights
between these two small cities with no need for travelers to change planes at Midwest
National Airport, our only regional hub. I surely will not miss hurrying between
terminals at Midwest through a sea of fellow passengers.

The Gartner Wing of the museum is currently closed. We apologize for the
inconvenience.

Please be patient as we prepare the space for our next exhibit, The Power of Light.
Designed by curator Sachiko Morishita, it explores innovations that will affect the
future, particularly in the world of lasers and optics. The exhibit will be open to
members and private group tours starting August 15 and to the general public
starting September 2.

Oxton Science Museum
Viewing Room Schedule (Room 203)—August 19

Visitors entering and walking through a building with wet umbrellas unintentionally
create wet and slippery floors. The Protecto Umbrella Wrapping machine (PUW
machine) provides a simple and convenient way to address this problem. The
machine is best placed in the entryway of your building. Upon entry, visitors insert
their wet umbrellas into the machine. It automatically wraps the umbrella in a clear
plastic bag, after which visitors can take their umbrellas. Upon leaving, they can
discard the used bags in any nearby trash can.

PUW machines are available with one or two umbrella-wrapping devices and come
in stainless steel or black. The machine wraps umbrellas in 1.5 seconds. The stand is
mobile and thus can be rolled around to different locations. Purchase a PUW
machine throughout November and receive a lightweight umbrella featuring our
